High Output Balmar with HD ˝ inch Drive Belt: The fresh water circulating pump and standard 60 amp alternator
are driven
by a heavy-duty ˝" B section belt. (Typically an engine of this size uses a smaller 3/8" belt.) The
single HD ˝ inch belt enables the use of a high-output
alternator, without the headache and expense of converting to double pulleys
and double belts. When ordering the engine a Balmar high output
alternator can be specified and delivered with it already
installed and connected. Standard options include the latest
Balmar model 712 in 80 amp and 110 amp. Connected to the state of
the art fully programmable multistage regulator type 612. |
